Coronavirus precautions (Covid-19)


Our technicians visit many different places every day. Also at residents' homes.
Of course we want to reduce the chance of the Coronavirus spreading. That is why we temporarily take extra precautions.
The technicians conform to the guidelines and instructions of RIVM and the local authorities.

• Our technicians do not come by for repair or maintenance if one of the residents is infected with the Corona virus, or if there is a suspicion of this.
• In case of contamination or if you suspect this, you can contact us again after 2 weeks to make an appointment, this can be done by phone and/or email..

You must indicate yourself whether you suffer from the known Covid-19 symptoms.
If the technician has doubts about your health or your residence, the repair will be canceled and the appointment will have to be rescheduled.

Read the information below carefully prior to the service visit

Your data is processed with the greatest possible accuracy. We request that you carefully check the information in the confirmation email again and contact us if there are any inaccuracies. The correct type number of the device is important here. If the type number is incorrectly stated, the technician may not be able to carry out the service visit because he or she will not have the correct equipment available on site.
To make things easier for yourself and the technician, we request that you keep the instructions for use at hand. This contains the serial number of the device.
Please note : always check the type number on the device itself, and not on the proof of purchase. We know from experience that these do not always correspond.

The service visit

If desired, the technician will identify himself upon arrival. Technicians may only enter the home under the supervision of an adult. In order to make a claim under the warranty, the original proof of purchase, including the date of purchase, must be shown to the technician prior to the repair.
In order to carry out the service properly, all parts of the device must be accessible to the technician. Actions taken to make parts of the device accessible are only done in consultation and at your own risk. If you have any doubts about the accessibility of your device, please contact us for advice. The technician is trained to resolve malfunctions. He shall not perform any actions that are not directly related to the technical condition of the device, such as plastering or using a caulking gun.
Expanding a stove is also part of this. Consider, for example, a sealed stove and/or mounted conversion on the relevant appliance. Please ensure that the technician has access to everything for diagnosis and repair.

Order parts/materials for the repair

The delivery time of a part is usually 10 days but can never be guaranteed, because we are dependent on the manufacturer for the delivery of these parts. Complaints about the delivery time will therefore not be processed, unless Service Techniek Schutte BV has demonstrably failed to do so.

Liability

Service Techniek Schutte BV is liable for damage to the product if this is caused by the technician during the repair appointment. However, Service Techniek Schutte BV is not liable for any damage resulting from a circumstance that is not attributable to its fault, nor for which it is responsible under the law, a legal act or generally accepted views. Service Techniek Schutte BV is under no circumstances liable for consequential damage. Although our technicians provide service to your equipment with the greatest professionalism, something can always happen. This includes scratches, stains, stripes or other damage to the immediate surroundings of the device to be repaired. For example, the floor, cupboards next to it, counter top, etc. A free-standing appliance, where the technician can access everything, makes it easier for the technician and has little chance of this type of damage. In the event of damage already present on or near the device to be repaired, the technician will take clear photos and point out that this is already present before the diagnosis/repair begins. warranty

We provide the statutory three-month warranty on the work carried out.
Excluded user errors and/or connection errors.

Not at home

If, without prior notice, you are not at home at the agreed time and the technician stands in front of a closed door,
call-out costs will be charged.

Users, Assembly and installation errors

Incorrect assembly or installation will void the claim under our warranty conditions. We recommend that you contact the person responsible for the assembly or installation of the device.
If the technician discovers this on site, the usual technician costs will be charged.

Uiteraard krijgt u garantie op de reparatie en de eventueel vervangende onderdelen.

The rate for diagnosis including the first 15 minutes is € 102,- *
and the wages are € 21,63 per quarter of an hour. that is incl. VAT.
